Our client is growing their Team and is looking for a German speaking Legal & Responsible Gaming Associate to join their team in sunny Lisbon, Portugal. This role is responsible for handling internal and external escalations related to responsible gaming, regulatory compliance, and the legal framework. The job holder will also be tasked with analyzing our customer base behaviour and monitoring at-risk customers in order to ensure highest level of player protection. You will have a key function in satisfactory complaint settlement within the international Customer Service. Furthermore, you will provide expertise to other units within our client on topics falling into the mentioned areas.
**Responsibilities**:
- Handling and assessment of customer cases falling into responsible gaming field while contributing to the development of the operative framework
- Settlement and prevention of major complaints from customers
- Contribute to handing and assessment of customer or lawyer communication related to legal matters in close cooperation with the internal and external Legal teams
- Handling and assessment of customer requests related to GDPR and other privacy laws
- Provide consulting and expertise to Customer Service and within the group on operative matters with legal, regulatory and compliance implications
- Handling of disputes, logged with the appointed ADRs (eCogra, IBAS) or any other third-party association/regulators
- Monitoring and interacting with at-risk customers as part of Entain Group‘s Proactive intervention efforts
**Occasional**:
- Contribute to internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the relevant CS and company-wide projects.
**Requirements**:
- Interest and/or experience in Responsible Gaming, legal matters, mediation, risk management, anti-money laundering, compliance or other gambling industry regulatory environment
- Business level of English and German
- Excellent written communication skills
- Analytical mind and high quality awareness
- Proactive, flexible, and stress-resistant personality
- Ability to work under pressure, manage, and prioritize key tasks with a focus on delivering them within agreed deadlines
- An understanding of the importance and impact of legislative requirements
- Proven experience of detailed, exploratory, and methodical working practices
- Experience of handling sensitive, confidential customer information
- Must be diligent, reliable, and self-motivated
- Ability to work in a team, as well as independently
**Desired**:
- CS experience in an international call center environment
- A degree in Law
