We're looking for an exceptional **Technical Project Manager Intern**to to help streamline operations and drive execution across high-impact projects at the intersection of photonics, artificial intelligence, and biomedicine, and join our team on our journey to revolutionize personalized medicine.
This role goes beyond traditional project tracking, it includes optimizing internal processes, improving team workflows, and building scalable systems as we grow. You’ll work closely with Technical Project Managers to enhance delivery pipelines, enable efficient cross-team collaboration, implement collaboration tools, and establish the foundations for long-term operational success.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing deep-tech startup, while gaining hands-on experience in **technical program execution and operational strategy.**

**About your Role / What will you be doing?**
**Project Coordination & Execution**
- Support the planning, tracking, and execution of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across hardware, software, and research teams.
- Collaborate with technical leads to define project scopes, goals, and resource requirements.
- Ensure clear documentation, action items, and project priorities are consistently maintained and communicated.
**Process Optimization & Scalability**
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of internal workflows, ensuring repeatability and efficiency as the team scales.
- Assist in setting up dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Notion, Power BI, etc.) to monitor project KPIs, deliverable timelines, and risk tracking.
- Evaluate and propose tools and systems that can enhance project tracking, knowledge management, and team collaboration.
- Support the creation of internal documentation standards, playbooks, and procedures to support future scaling.
**Technical Exposure & Learning**
- Gain first-hand exposure to the development lifecycle of deep-tech solutions, from prototyping and experimentation to regulatory preparation.
- Participate in technical and strategic meetings, ensuring clarity in execution and helping translate complex discussions into structured, actionable project plans.
- Work alongside multidisciplinary experts in engineering, AI, and biomedical research in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.
**Qualifications**
- Ongoing or finished degree in **Project Management, Business, Biomedical Engineering**, or a related field, with some exposure to managing or supporting technical projects.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-evolving environment.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and project tracking tools (e.g., Notion, Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English: these are a mandatory requirement for this role and are considered an excluding factor.
- A growth mindset, curiosity to learn, adaptability to changing needs, and ability to thrive in a fast-evolving startup environment.
**Bonus**
- Experience working in or with **multidisciplinary deep-tech startups**, especially those involving R&D or product development.
- Exposure to **biomedical or life sciences environments.**
- Familiarity with building and managing **operational dashboards**or using business intelligence tools.
- Understanding of the challenges in **scaling early-stage startups**, especially around internal operations, documentation, and collaboration tooling.
