Who is the company and what is the context?
Our client is a prestigious global in the service sector. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled Functional EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Analyst with project management expertise to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of financial IT tools, acting as the crucial link between the Finance department and the IT Finance Tech team.
What will I be doing?
Manage and optimize financial IT tools such as HFM, Essbase, and Tagetik.
Serve as the liaison between the Finance department and the IT Finance Tech team, facilitating clear communication and effective collaboration.
Lead workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct training sessions to ensure end-users are proficient with financial IT tools.
Develop and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and user guides.
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Finance department.
Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
What skills and profile will I need to succeed?
3+ years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally with a background in FP&A or Controlling.
Strong knowledge of financial IT tools such as HFM, Essbase, and Tagetik.
Excellent business analysis skills to effectively bridge the gap between Finance and IT.
Project management experience, with the ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead workshops, training sessions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on process improvement and documentation.
Finance background, with a solid understanding of financial processes and systems
