Production Supervisor

About the position:
As a Production Supervisor you report to the Production Manager. You are responsible for managing your team with Sr. operators, operators and production employees. You work closely with your fellow supervisors on the daily management of the production lines in the factory, achieving high efficiency and output.

People are at the heart of everything we do. As a leader, you are responsible for operational personnel management within the department, which includes:

- Talent management - you are responsible for hiring team members, conduct performance and management and actions, managing absences.
- Providing data for the administration with regard to the hours worked, ATV, illness, leave, holiday planning, etc.
- In case of over
- and understaffing, consult solutions with the other production supervisors

Further to the above, you monitor the planning and adjust it in response to changes. You identify disruptions in the supply of raw materials and/or lagging quality of the supplied raw materials/semi-finished products and in the processing and you discuss the measures to be taken. You monitor the condition of the machines in relation to safety, efficiency, effectiveness and quality. You contribute to the formulation of a maintenance plan for the department and you take action when malfunctions occur. You monitor the quality of Cleaning and Hygiene, you identify deviations and take action on this. You hold work consultations within the department and you participate in the HACCP team consultation.

You also ensure the correct implementation and follow-up of the training needs.

Who are we looking for:

- You have several years of production experience, ideally in food or consumer goods
- Bachelor degree is of advantage
- You have good oral and written communication in English, Dutch is a plus but not a must
- You have proven experience as a people leader, focused on personal development
- You are data driven and have a Continuous Improvement mindset
- You are decisive and know how to deal with responsibility in the right way

Compensation:

- Salary starting at EUR 3,500 gross per month, can be higher, depending on experience
- Shift allowance: 128%
- Annual bonus: 5% of annual base salary depending on company and personal performance

Should you be interested in this position we would provide you with relocation support in terms of getting into the Netherlands, support in obtaining a work permit as well as temporary housing.

Type of employment: Full-time (36 hours/week)

We operate in three shifts, 5 days a week.
