**Junior Actuarial Analyst (M/F)**

The **Individual Calculations Team** We look after upcoming pensions for members of Defined Benefit Plans approaching their retirement by providing them the most recent figures so they can plan their future with the highest confidence possible. Our team receives the requests, validates the existent information, queries any outstanding items, performs the calculation and prepares a memo/letter to the member. One of the critical success factors of this team is the constant communication with a variety of colleagues, from junior analysts to senior consultants of Mercer UK. Although strong communication skills are needed, there is a significant part of the work that involves critical thinking and attention to detail.

**We will count on you to**:

- Perform actuarial calculations mainly focusing on Transfer Values of DB Pension Plans;
- Work with Data and Risk Analysis;
- Report production;
- Collaborate with client and project teams;
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the high standards required with the help of the more senior colleagues;

**What you need to have**:

- Degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Management, Economics or similar.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment;
- Problem-solving skills with capacity to identify and propose solutions;
- Proactivity;
- Aptitude for meticulous work and attention to detail;
- Intermediate or Advanced (B2 or C) knowledge in English.
- Strong Communication skills - clear and assertive;
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills;
- Strong command of Excel.
