Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Insurance Analyst to join and support our global Insurance Risk department.

As an Insurance Analyst, you will support global insurance activities; working closely with internal partners, brokers, underwriters, claims adjusters, and other stakeholders to gather data in order to conduct analysis, prepare presentations, database system set up and data maintenance, assist in drafting of guiding processes, best practices, and policies, and building and maintaining insurance reporting to provide accurate and informed analysis to support business decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect relevant underwriting data, including policy documents, loss history, financial statements, and market trends;
- Day to day administration of the global marine cargo insurance marine including monthly declarations and follow up on monthly invoicing;
- Assist in handling simple claims (e.g. travel policy);
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations and other relevant documentation;
- Establish, maintain, and develop a database system related to insurance risk containing information such as policy information, claims files, building data and insurer recommendation follow-up, allocation tables, etc;
- Assist in drafting processes, best practices, and internal risk working policies;
- Assist in building and maintaining comprehensive insurance reporting;
- Participate and be trained in insurance risk analysis, insurance contract review and insurance provider selection;
- Identify potential areas for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of efficient workflows and procedures;
- Prepare and assist in training trading, operational colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field;
- Certifications in the area of insurance management are a plus;
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as insurance risk analyst, preferably in agriculture or commodities trading, with good IT skills;
- Excellent English level (written and oral), other language skills are a plus;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and evaluate complex data from multiple sources;
- Proficient in using statistical analysis tools, spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel), and insurance industry-specific software;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
