**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are hiring a UX RESEARCHER to our CODE team in PORTUGAL

You will be a direct report of the Lead of Global UX Research in the Product Development team and you'll be responsible for running end-to-end research projects and to support the growth of the research culture in product development. That's why an entrepreneurial vision is a nice to have.

As a Gympass' UX Researcher, you will design and conduct user research and analyse user behaviour through qualitative and quantitative methods, as well as being responsible to conduct rapid and iterative studies and collaborative design, interacting directly with product designers, software engineers, product managers and data analysts (and often marketing teams). **Your mission will be to take care of asking and answering questions that will be important to the product strategy. **Your scope will embrace different projects that can be from different types of research**:Foundational research, discovery, evaluative and product trends.**

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Design and perform user experience research and support the team with user testing, being aware about the competitive landscape;
- Define what's the best research methodology to suit the problem scopes we have, with the support of a close leadership;
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research (interviews, focus group, surveys, diary studies) to address question regarding user behavior and how people around the globe experience Gympass products;
- Be able to relate qualitative research with inputs from Data Science, Surveys, Market Research and Product Data;
- Raise research questions to be answered for the progress of the product roadmap in a way that it reflected the user's needs
- Present research findings and recommendations to project stakeholders through written reports and presentations, including how to measure the expected impact guiding product strategy;
- Work with the product development team to turn user insights into actionable recommendations and drive product design decisions;
- Contribute to an innovative research program with new methods, process and workflow;
**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Minimum of 2 years working with applied research (successfully and professionally working with research planning, research conducting, analyzing and reporting on user studies)
- Solid experience in running discovery, validation and evaluative research with strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods;
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science, Consumer Behavior, Business strategy or related field or equivalent practical experience;
- Advanced/Professional level of English (English is our main language in the company All the research findings and reports are necessarily delivered in English, you'll conduct research with foreigner users all the time and touch base with English speakers to make definitions and presentations);
- Familiarity testing with prototypes (rough drafts and sketches, paper prototypes, working prototypes) and live builds, from recruitment participants to analyzing results to share with the team;
- Ability to interpret business and usage data to point out hypothesis and potential research insights;
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative evidences;
- Excellent communication skills are a must, you need to be able to articulate ideas clearly when speaking in Portuguese and/or English;
- Able to work independently on multiple projects at once;
- Communicate with the teams and stakeholders all the time, highlighting the importance of research as part of the product development process
- Ability to organize and prioritize to manage working on multiple, simultaneous projects of varied size and complexity (example: reviewing a usability test script from a product designer but also planning for an in-depth interviews study).

- You have Design skills related to problem-solving methods.
