Join Synopsys ARC-V Processor team this summer to contribute to the open standard RISC-V instruction set architecture (ISA) documentation.

Synopsys ARC-V Processor IP is based on the open standard RISC-V instruction set architecture (ISA), extending the current ARC portfolio and giving customers access to the growing RISC-V ecosystem. As active members of the community, we aim to enhance the RISC-V ecosystem by sharing our extensive experience in processor IP and tools development. We are launching a project to improve the documentation for developers working with low-level software on RISC-V based processors.

**Goals**
The primary goal of this internship is to elevate the RISC-V Instruction Set Manual to industry standards, comparable to renowned manuals like the Programmer’s Reference Manual for ARC Processors and the Programmer's Guide for ARM processors.

**Project Tasks**
- Assess the current state of publicly available programmer's manuals for various processor families and architectures.
- Propose improvements for the RISC-V Instruction Set Manual.
- Implement the proposed improvements and contribute them to the community project on GitHub.

**Target**
We are seeking computer science students who are eager to learn and contribute to the open-source community.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a computer science or related degree program.
- Familiarity processor architectures and low-level programming.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Experience with GitHub and collaborative projects.
- Passion for open-source development and documentation.
