The **Record to Report Direction** (R2R) of **EDP Global Solutions SA**, whose mission is to ensure the operation of the economic and financial activities supporting the EDP Group's activity, namely: i) the management of financial master data, ii) accounting, including accounting consolidation; iii) taxation, and iv) operational treasury management, including external and internal debt management, payments and receipts, bank management and cash forecasting, is looking to recruit a **Tax Specialist** for the **General Compliance** area.

**Main responsibilities:.**
- Calculation of the monthly CIT estimate;
- Compliance with declaratory and ancillary obligations relating to the various taxes (M22, DPIVA, withholding tax returns, IES, tax dossiers, etc);
- Follow-up of tax inspections (response to requests for information, critical analysis of reports and preparation of hearing rights);
- Submission and preparation of VAT refund claims;
- Tax framework of payments to non-residents and control of formal requirements in terms of forms;
- Extraction and submission of SAFT files;
- Participation in IT projects related to Taxation.

**Looking for people with the following requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Taxation or other area provided you have relevant experience for the role;
- Professional experience up to 7 years in operational tax matters, namely:

- Preparation of tax returns - CIT, VAT;
- Submission and preparation of VAT refund claims;
- Calculation of CIT and deferred tax estimates;
- Tax framework for payments to non-residents;
- Follow-up of tax inspections;
- Extraction and sending of SAFT files;
- Participation in SAP projects related to taxation.
- Knowledge of SAP (to be valued);
- Knowledge of the English language (to be valued);
- Knowledge of Office (mandatory);
- Great interpersonal skills and teamwork;
- Strong motivation for the development of operational tasks;
- Good analytical skills, critical sense and initiative.
