Indirect Commodity Buyer

**Job Purpose**

Indirect Commodity Buyer - Europe to develop and optimize indirect procurement processes across Europe. This role is essential for ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance while acting as a communication link between suppliers, operations, and sales.

**A glimpse of your daily mission**
- Support the Head of Purchasing in implementing purchasing strategies across international operations.
- Lead strategic sourcing activities, including market trend monitoring, spend analysis, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance and compliance.
- Align procurement with internal customers, operations and sales for smooth operations and processes.
- Ensure ERP system accuracy by updating supplier and customer key data.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes.
- Travel across Portugal and Europe (20-30%) to engage with suppliers and stakeholders.

**Your Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience in procurement and commercial departments.
- Experience with commodity management in the indirect sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Logistics, Inventory, Purchasing, Product Life Cycle Management, etc.).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Experience in demand/material planning and purchasing final goods.
- Ability to work in an international business environment.
