**About The Role**:
**About this opportunity**

Procurement Manager providing support to key Water Cooling Infrastructure projects in a full range of related services.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Procurement & contracting strategy development and the development of pricing mechanisms
- Optioning and cost benefit analysis
- Cost forecasting
- Preparing contract documents and drafting terms and conditions
- Collating Invitation to Tender packages
- Development of selection and evaluation criteria
- Managing tender clarifications / returns and down selection process
- Negotiation and award of contracts
- Oversight of subcontracting arrangements and procurement planning
- Contract Oversight
- Ensure contract compliance / oversee assurance process
- Draft and issue project correspondence on behalf of the client
- Contract Management / Administration
- Claims Preparation / Assessment
- Change Control / Variation Management
- Subcontracting Strategy, Oversight & Approvals
- Pro-active Commercial Risk Management
- Lead Project meetings as appropriate

**About You**:
**Who we’re looking for**:
**Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills**
- Broad spectrum of technical knowledge relating to Procurement, Supply Chain, Cost and Commercial Management - ideally both pre and post contract.
- Experience working on the procurement of large-scale water-related infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
- Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
- Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
- Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High level of Portuguese and English
- National mobility

**Qualifications**
- Civil engineering degree
