Surveillance Team Leader

**About the job**

The Surveillance Team Leader is responsible for providing direction and setting the organization for the team, by providing guidelines and construction processes as well as guiding the team members to reach business goals. Being in charge of people development, has the mission to support the team throughout the path in the organization, in terms of performance, motivation and professional growth. Additionally, the Team Leader should establish connections between local and onshore teams and answer and evaluate the needs of the business lines. For last, as a team leader, it is also requested to keep monitoring and maintaining a sustainable good performance, analyze bandwidth and keep a low turnover within the team.

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Work towards making the team's outcomes a a success by planning, monitoring and promoting achievements
- Manage team by providing assistance in all topics; Management Reporting; Ability to set up relevant performance indicators; Participates in identifying/producing various performance indicators and improves existing ones; Closely monitors and controls these indicators to ensure their relevance and reliability; Produces synthesis, analysis and reporting adapted to the target objectives
- Leading team members to achieve the highest performance
- Define and create relevant KPI's for the team, promote proper procedure documentation for BAU tasks and ensure constant update.
- Actively promote new projects and stakeholders' relationship, while acting as well in the support of transversal projects designed to foster the overall efficiency objectives
- Prepare team’s development - anticipate the expanding requirements for resourcing or workload planning; Plan ahead /anticipate FTE turnover and rebalancing needs and fostering team’s autonomy
- Actively contribute and engage with ideas and opinions to strengthen the scope's ecosystem in Management Committees - Proactively shares ideas, insights, knowledge and relevant information with people they work with (including manager and team members); Facilitates cooperation and interactions, within and beyond the team, on transversal projects whilst acknowledging the benefit of differing viewpoints and ways of working; Alerts about risks and areas of concern and is able to formalize them.
- Analyze and keep track of performance of team and development - provide regular feedback and Act as a coach of the team-members and implement of Personal Development Plans
- Assist on the BAU production asks when needed and report and communicate clearly to onshore teams/businesses.

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Have knowledge and understanding of conduct risks and market abuse
- Masters in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Management
- Experience in Financial Markets, Capital Markets, Debt Markets, Risk or Control Functions or Audit
- Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
- DATA VIZ BLENDING ANALYTICS Power BI (Proficient)
