We're actively seeking a dynamic SEO Manager with an aptitude for leadership and a flair for strategic thinking. This role will oversee our burgeoning SEO department, currently consisting of one dedicated individual, with a direct reporting line to the Head of SEM. As the linchpin between SEO strategy and execution, your expertise will help shape the future of our online visibility.

**Main responsibilities**:

- **Strategic SEO Planning**: Design and execute a forward-thinking SEO strategy that promotes organic search growth and conversion optimization.
- **Team Leadership**: Directly manage and mentor one SEO professional, fostering their professional growth and ensuring departmental targets are met.
- **Keyword Research**: Delve deep into keyword analytics to uncover high-value opportunities in line with our brand and industry trends.
- **On-page & Off-page Optimization**: Drive on-page SEO initiatives and lead external backlinking strategies to extend our digital footprint.
- **Technical SEO**: Collaborate with the web development and SEM teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated throughout our digital platforms.
- **Content Collaboration**: Align closely with our content creators to ensure content is both compelling for our audience and optimized for search.
- **Performance Analysis**: Regularly report SEO metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the Head of SEM and other stakeholders.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated with the latest in SEO advancements, ensuring our strategies continually evolve with the digital landscape.

**Key requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years of solid SEO experience.
- Demonstrated leadership or management skills.
- Mastery of major SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console
- An understanding of black hat SEO techniques is a big asset.
- Experience in tough niches (gambling, crypto ) is a big asset.
- Familiarity with PPC strategies is an asset.
- Sound understanding of Google algorithms and update implications.
- Technical understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Analytical mindset with a penchant for data-driven decisions.
- Stellar English communication skills, both written and verbal.
