- Setting up and configuring virtualization software and related components.
- Regular upkeep and monitoring of virtualization environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Installing new versions or updates of software to improve features, security, or compatibility.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues or errors within the virtualization environment.
- Providing assistance and guidance to users or clients experiencing issues with virtualization services.
- Addressing and resolving inquiries or problems raised by customers related to virtualization.
- Generating and analyzing data or metrics to assess the performance and health of virtualization systems.
- Monitoring and managing resource usage to ensure efficient utilization and avoid resource shortages.
- Implementing automated processes or scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Writing and deploying scripts to automate tasks or configure settings within virtualization environments.
- Previous working experience in System Administration with VMWARE;
- Experience with solutions storage and backup (EMC,Clarion, VNX, SUN);
- Experience in administration and troubleshooting in high-availability environments;
- Experience with DNS, SMTP, PowerShell, Zerto, NSX, VSAN, Vrealyse Operations is mandatory;
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical skills;
- Experience in setting up virtualization services;
- Ensuring the ongoing performance and stability of virtualization services;
- Debugging and Troubleshooting;
- Scripts to streamline tasks and configurations;
- Management of Windows and Linux Operating Systems;
