**About the Job**

The Prime Brokerage Risk Team monitors the risks associated to the clients' portfolios of the Prime Brokerage activity

The Prime Brokerage Risk Analyst monitors client’s portfolio risk worldwide for Prime Solutions and Financing Global Business Line. Which mainly consists on the analysis of top equity and top margin moves for each client on a daily basis, ensuring data reported is accurate, on an ad hoc basis running portfolio simulations, performing specific analyses, and delivering dedicated projects for the Risk team

**Y**our Main Activities Are**

Assess and review portfolio risk, identifying changes in client strategies and asset mixes to determine if margining methodologies need updates

Conduct scenario analysis to assess the impact of changes in client portfolios, cost of funding, business mix, interest rates, and currency mix on risk and pricing

Analyze and report on major swings in client portfolios, escalating concerns to management

Assist in developing margin and pricing proposals for new and existing clients

Develop automation tools to monitor and analyze client performance metrics across various dimensions, including internal and external metrics

Generate accurate risk summaries at the position, client account, regional and global levels;

Manage and execute ad hoc projects for the desks

**Profile and Skills to Success**

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Maths or similar

Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience

Advanced English level

Excellent Excel skills (experience in VBA, SWL)

Confident and able to deal with senior managers & cross cultural teams

Willingness to work flexible/ late hours, i.e., New York based schedule

Ability and agility to work under pressure

Within Prime Services, our Risk Management team plays a critical role in managing portfolio risk and determining the amount of leverage we can offer clients. We work closely with other areas within the business, including sales, securities lending, and client management, as well as with transversal teams such as Credit Risk Management and Exposure Management Group. Our team in Lisbon provides critical support to the desk in managing client financing risk for the business
