The Universal Group has been developing several projects related to renewable energies and is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for the Portuguese Office to work closely with senior management and executive staff.

RESPONSABILITIES:

- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and expense reports.
- Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and analyse financial data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Fluence in the written and spoken English Language;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
