What does it mean for you?** **Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Procurement > HUB** Vestas Global Procurement is responsible for all procurement activities within Vestas, including leading cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management. This position is related to the Hub Category where we are looking for a new colleague for our global team, position based out of Porto, Portugal. In the Hub procurement team, we are commercially responsible for Vestas global network of external suppliers of the various Hub components, including blade bearings and hydraulic components. **Responsibilities** You will join a high-profiled position, where you will lead business and people, with a very high level of strategic exposure within Vestas. Your everyday activities will be characterized by a very high tempo. Overall expected deliverables include, among others: Lead, develop and motivate the global team members, and assign team members to appropriate tasks. Ensure skill development and succession planning for direct reports Be a crucial actor in creating and developing end-to-end Commodity strategies, as well as securing the team executes on those strategies Identify and implement on new business opportunities across the value chain Be accountable for the delivery of agreed savings and value-add targets Be an ambassador of collaboration across commodities to support the Module strategy development and implementation **Qualifications** Significant previous experience with managing and leading teams in a dynamic and fast pace business context Communicate and interact effectively across organizational and cultural boundaries, internal and external on executive management level Be result oriented and take lead in achieving the team goals Work through others and influence colleagues and stakeholders with a high degree of commitment, storytelling and execution power Demonstrate commitment, maturity, flexibility and speed in response to business needs and challenges Be an efficient negotiator through proven commercial skills Perform well in a time-sensitive situation Never compromise on integrity and ethics **Competencies** To succeed in this role, you need a broad understanding of the Wind Turbine market combined with a good understanding of Commodity management and people management.
