**The Role**:
As a People Operations Specialist at Air Apps, you will be at the heart of our HR and recruiting operations. You’ll ensure smooth and timely delivery of key people-related processes, from recruitment and onboarding to documentation and employee support. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining a compliant, well-organized, and people-first work environment.
**Responsibilities**:
**HR Operations & Employee Support**:
- Assist with day-to-day HR tasks including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee data management.
- Clarify HR policies and respond to employee inquiries with empathy and accuracy.
- Support internal HR initiatives, including company-sponsored people programs and team communications.
- Take ownership of recurring documentation tasks, such as creating and updating internal HR processes, SOPs, and templates to ensure a compliant and well-documented HR environment.
**Recruitment & Hiring Support**:
**Onboarding**:
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, welcoming new hires and ensuring a smooth integration into the team.
**Requirements**:
- **Minimum of 2 years of experience** in recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers — ideally within a **consultancy or fast-paced environment**.
- Hands-on experience with **Applicant Tracking Systems**, especially **Ashby**.
- Proficient in **LinkedIn tools**, especially **LinkedIn Recruiter**, and familiar with other **sourcing platforms and talent engagement strategies**.
- Experience supporting HR operations such as **payroll**, **benefits**, and **employee services**.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with the **Portuguese labor law framework** — you don’t need to be a legal expert, but understanding the **impact of current regulations on hiring and employee operations** is a significant plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Portuguese proficiency is a bonus.
