Job Purpose (State in one sentence the overall objective of the role)
Ensure the correct execution of radiopharmaceutical quality control with high standards of GMP, HSE, environmental protection and good working practices.
Major Activities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved )
- Support the head of QC (or other on his behalf) in the execution of the various activities under the responsibility of the Quality Control, namely:

- Preparation of standards and reagents.
- Execution of analysis and quality controls according to the internal/standard procedures and the Good Manufacturing Practices of radiopharmaceuticals (routine and stability).
- Micro-biological monitoring of pharmaceutical facilities.
- Management of counter-sample and dispatch of samples to external companies for complementary quality control controls.
- Periodic validation, qualification and calibration of analytical instrumentation as required.
- Perform the necessary activities for the correct execution and maintenance of the various activities of the QC lab, under the coordination of the head of QC (or other on his behalf).
- Management of analytical techniques and equipment such as HPLC, GC, TLC, ph-meter, Osmometer, Radioactivity meter, Endotoxins, etc.
- Collaborate in the implementation and revalidation of quality control processes.
- Ensure the correct order and cleaning of QC lab and refrigerators for storage of reagents, standards, raw materials, production material and documentation.
- Ensure the correct order, storage and update of the samples of reagents, standards, raw materials and production material.
- Collaborate in the implementation, review and follow-up of actions and documentation related to the activities.
- Collaborate with other colleagues in specific tasks related to the activities in the site.
- Assist people in charge of radioprotection in management of radioactivity measuring instruments (e.g. environmental monitoring probes, pollutants, Geyger-Muller meters, active and passive dosimeters) and in the handling of decontamination tanks.

The quality control technician will not be able to perform production tasks in the same batch.

**Minimum requirements**

Education: Bachelor’s degree
Languages: Country language
English: fluent spoken and writing
Experience / Professional requirements: - Radiation safety education
- Strong affinity with and awareness of quality issues
- Open and clear collaboration and communication to make sure the daily operation runs smoothly
- Shows the appropriate sense of urgency around given tasks
- Reliable, present and able to transmit the energy necessary to continue an improvement process and consolidate the system
