**Your new role**
***
We are looking for a Head of Engineering capable of leading our engineering team and helping grow our company. You will contribute to the architecture of the product, participating in feature and implementation discussions, and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**
***
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Develop and maintain an ever-evolving product
Work with the product owner to elicit requirements
Model, design and implement databases as necessary
Guide the engineering team
Serve as mentor to the team members
Lead recruiting activities of the engineering department

**What you will need to succeed**

Degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant field
2+ years’ experience leading a small team
Understanding of the software development lifecycle
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
Experience with Java backend frameworks
Development best practises including unit and end-to-end testing
