We are currently looking for a **Head of Content** to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal This is a full-time, permanent role.
**About the job**
As part of the creative team, the Head of Content will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that resonate with our worldwide audience. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving inbound marketing initiatives, optimizing SEO efforts, and creating compelling content for global campaigns. As the Head of Content, you’ll lead a team of talented content creators and a localization manager, ensuring that all content produced aligns with our brand voice in every language, resonates with our target markets, and drives engagement.
You’ll join Acolad’s **Global Marketing team** of +30 in-house professionals, working closely with web & design, SEO & inbound, corporate communications, event marketing and field marketing teams.
This is a high visibility role that offers you the opportunity to work in an international team, while making a difference on business by helping to meet Acolad’s revenue and conversion goals through outstanding content.
**What You'll Be Doing**
- Develop and implement content strategies to support our global marketing objectives, ensuring alignment with our brand positioning and key buyer profiles.
- Lead a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the production of high-quality and impactful content across various mediums, including written, visual and multimedia.
- Manage and maintain an editorial calendar, coordinating content production timelines and ensuring timely delivery of content assets.
- Oversee the localization and translation process for content in 11 languages, ensuring cultural appropriateness, accuracy, and consistency across different regions and markets.
- Continuously analyze and evaluate content performance using relevant metrics and tools, making data-driven decisions to improve engagement, conversion rates, and overall content effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for content innovation and keep our strategies ahead of the competition.
**Exigences**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in content marketing, preferably in an international context targeting global markets.
- Strong understanding of inbound marketing principles, SEO best practices, and content optimization techniques.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of content creators, with excellent coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful content strategies that drive audience engagement, lead generation, and conversion.
- Extensive knowledge of content creation across different formats, including written, visual, and multimedia, including briefing and/or collaborating with internal or external partners.
- Proficient in using content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and analytics platforms to track content performance and optimize strategies accordingly.
