Fueled by a talented and dedicated workforce, the BSC provides Accounting business services for Bruker Corporation throughout the EMEA Region. **Responsibilities**:
The Revenue Recognition Specialist is part of a team responsible for providing high quality accounting service in the General Ledger for global internal company clients.
- analyse financial data to ensure accurate revenue recognition according to Bruker corporate policies
- perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities
- examine documentation supporting revenue recognition in terms of compliance with US GAAP and internal guidelines (RRC)
- monitor and analyse revenue streams to identify trends and variances
- monthly Reporting to Corporate
- perform Balance sheet account reconciliations and SOX controls
- support audits and other business queries.
- perform Other Duties As Required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance/ ACCA
- Minimum 2 years of General Ledger/ AR work experience involving US GAAP revenue recognition
- ** Communicate effectively and professionally in English and Italian (written and oral)**:
- Advanced computer proficiency with SAP ERP or Microsoft Dynamics Navision and MS Office Suite including Excel expertise
- Demonstrated ability to work on and own initiatives while also collaborating within a team
- Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, then make clear and timely decisions
- Proactive with the ability to manage time-dependent critical processes
- Strong understanding of controls required within an accounting organization.
- Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
