Metrology Technician

Dimensional Verification and elaboration of dimensional protocols.

**Job Responsibilities & Qualifications**:
**Responsibilities**
- Management and execution of dimensional verification requests;
- Defining the appropriate dimensional verification method for the order placed, together with the requisitioner/Product Engineer;
- Perform measurement programs for (as applicable):

- O-Inspect Zeiss,
- CT-Scan;
- Perform dimensional verification and preparation of protocols for approval of:

- Machinery (initial approval or approval of changes);
- Tools / Molds (initial approval or approval of changes);
- Parts for Layout Inspection;
- Samples for PPAP's (Production Part Approval);
- Dimensional verification and/or comparisons for the validation of parts in production;
- Ensure the maintenance of the equipment used in the scope of his functions;
- Provide training to other employees, as part of their duties;
- Effect communication to the requisitioners: sending of the protocol carried out and discussion of the results (if applicable);
- Create Purchase Order in SAP (PR), within the scope of his/her functions, whenever necessary.
- Inform the supervisor whenever any non-conformity is detected in products, equipment or processes;
- Ensure that the control indications of protocol orders/responses are on target.

**Qualifications**
- At least high school education
- 6 months of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of Metrology
- Knowledge in technical drawing interpretation
- Knowledge in dimensional verification;
- Knowledge in excel;
- Knowledge in computer science
- Knowledge in oral and written English
- Plus_
- Knowledge in DM.TEC system;
- Knowledge in calibrations;
- Knowledge in operating dimensional verification equipment (O- inspect, CT Scan)
