- In order to support, govern and contribute to a fully integrated and aligned IT Strategy across the SBM organization, you are to:
- Work closely with the Group IT Management Office in IT asset administration.
- Provide recommendations and advice to IT community and IT Operations Manager on IT asset related matters, which includes stock management and refresh of IT assets.
- Provide advice to IT Operations Manager on all IT purchasing matters which includes vendor selection and performing cost comparison.
- Perform procurement-related processes, communicating and working closely with Group Procurement to ensure procurement processes are adhered to and PO is generated in a timely manner.
- Ensuring high level of compliance and integrity in the internal and external stakeholder and vendor management, and providing solid advice and risk management to achieve the best results and gain trust.
- Maintain a high-quality level of communication with IT team.
- Perform physical and virtual asset reviews to ensure the accuracy of assets and information in the CMDB
- Ensure all mandatory information is entered and up to date in CMDB by performing a periodic audit of all assets and the CMDB
- Manage, track and document stock level of IT Assets and IT Consumables.
- Assets linked to critical Business Services and identified.
- Highlight asset discrepancies to the IT Service Desk Lead and IT Support Manager for rectification
- Participate and contribute to internal IT Controls audit exercise.
- In order to ensure knowledge sharing and creating awareness amongst the IT community on your respective expertise, you are to:
- Keep the IT community informed on any new initiatives and decisions taken that might have an impact on day-to-day business;
- Ensure a cross-functional alignment to ensure collaboration across different stakeholders and business
- In order to ensure that you understand and manage your stakeholders and their requirements as well as having assigned activities completed successfully, you are to:
- Understand, plan and deliver assigned tasks with accuracy to meet stakeholders' needs in a timely manner;
- Identify areas requiring more detailed instructions and clarify as necessary with stakeholders to ensure no surprises;
- Complete tasks in compliance with applicable policies, standards and work procedures;
- Seek clarification or guidance as soon as difficulties arise and recommend alternative solutions;
- Properly plan work to allow adequate time for stakeholder feedback;
- Produce consistent/organized instructions in a well-structured format to convey the required information to stakeholders
**REQUIREMENTS.**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with SERVICENOW CMDB
- Have experience in IT control framework
- Have experience in vendor management and negotiations
- ITIL V3 certification will be added advantage
- Skilled in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- Analytical, independent, and able to manage complexity
