RMC Surfaces, S.A. is hiring

We are a proud producer of RMC - a premium compact marble manufactured in Portugal since 1980. We are based in Oliveira do Bairro and export our products to more than 30 countries worldwide.

We are currently looking for a **Logistics Manager (M/F) **to join our team of marble enthusiasts.

**Main tasks**:

- Manage inventory, as well as the warehouse, transport and other logistics processes;
- Manage suppliers and the corresponding logistics to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience;
- To establish partnerships and communicate with suppliers;
- Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction and financial commitments are met;
- Manage the internal logistics, transport and warehouse teams;
- Carry out metrics reports and data analysis tasks to identify problems and opportunities for process improvement;
- Develop new strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs;
- Create and manage logistics budgets;
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation;
- Ensure the entry and exit of goods and the valuation of stocks (entries, returns to suppliers, transfers between warehouses, transport to customers, overheads, markdowns);
- Ensure strict compliance with goods reception procedures, adapting processes to specific warehouse conditions;
- Prepare, monitor and improve action plans to correct operational deviations;
- Respond to and resolve complaints regarding the logistics process.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field;
- Previous experience in supply chain management, with an emphasis on purchasing, logistics and warehouse management;
- Experience in cost reduction, supplier negotiations and working capital optimization;
- Excellent communication of English (mandatory);
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
