Reporting Solutions Analyst

As a Reporting Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports for various departments within the company. You will also work closely with data analysts and business users to understand their needs and develop reports that meet their requirements.

In your new role you will:

- **Support the Finance Reporting Specialists to find solutions **for standardized regular as well as ad-hoc reporting.
- **Design, develop, test, and deploy reporting solutions **using a variety of tools and technologies.
- Write **SQL queries **to extract data from relational databases for reporting and analysis.
- **Analytical background and experience in querying and transforming data **to compute metrics and conduct a variety of analyses to inform decisions.
- **Experience building dashboards **in a modern business intelligence tool.
- Be involved in **important Finance projects **(e.g. oneSAP).
- Be in **close contact with IT **for development, implementation and testing new reports.
- Identify gaps in day-to-day processes and **actively communicate with business partners for improvements.**:

- **Check problems in existing reports **and support the resolution.
- **Monitor and optimize **the performance of reporting and data visualization solutions.
- Support to enable **self-service Reporting.**:

- **Continuously improve **reports by seeking automation and standardization potentials.
- **Stay up-to-date **on new features and capabilities of reporting and data visualization tools.
- **Research and recommend **new reporting and data visualization solutions.
- **Train users **on how to use reporting and data visualization tools.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A Degree in **Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, IT Management **or any other related field.
- Ideally **2 years of professional experience in data analytics, reporting, programming **or a similar role.
- A strong **problem-solving **mindset.
- Openness to work on **new and challenging topics.**:

- Relevant working experience in **Shared Services Organizations.**:

- **Extensive **experience in target group-oriented reporting.**:

- Deep understanding of state-of-the-art **reporting systems and experience with BI technology **(e.g. Tableau, SAP, BW, Analysis for Office, OneStream).
- Experience with **SQL **and advanced **Excel **skills, including **VBA **programming.
- Good understanding of **data logics and data modelling in the different tools.**:

- A high degree of **result and customer orientation.**:

- Excellent **communication **and **presentation skills.**:

- Ability to accept and meet deadlines by an **effective time management.**:

- **Experience in SAP **(e.g. S4/Hanna).
- Excellent **English Language skills, German **as a plus.
