**Region MED > SBU MED Service > ROS Iberia** The WTG Engineering Iberia department consists of teams specialized in mechanical, electrical, software, SCADA, and blade engineering. We provide engineering support to the Iberia Service organization. Our engineers approve component inspection reports from the field, coordinate CIM cases and deliver technical support to the Operations team. In close collaboration with the Customer Support department, we answer technical questions from our customers. Our expertise covers the entire wind turbine asset, from the concrete foundation to the tip of the rotor blades, for both Vestas and Multibrand WTGs. **Responsibilities** - Coordinate the Turbine Engineering department and staff to optimize all technical aspects of wind turbine operations and commissioning, in order to improve the LPF and cost per MW. This includes wind turbines, balance of plant, and SCADA equipment. - Identify and provide technical solutions to wind turbine operations and commissioning, in order to increase service revenue in Fleet Optimization, Parts & Repair, and new turbine contracts. Participate in the Service Leadership for Iberia, and align with global stakeholders to set goals and strategies for the team. - Take ownership of all technical issues arising with customers, including coordinating all Continuous Improvement Management cases. Handle all issues arising during the commissioning process, improve wind turbine, blade, and SCADA reliability, and sell and deliver innovative solutions to customers. - Propel customer engagement by guiding the relationships with all of our customers' engineering teams, including directing the team to host regular calls and collect and act upon customers' evolving needs. - Deliver world-class engineering support to all Vestas Service customers, delivering quick, thorough, and high-quality solutions that align with customer expectations. - Collaborate with global colleagues to establish processes for delivering high engineering support, and provide product and solution needs to the relevant research and development teams. - Leadership and execution of technical and operational projects that enable the achievement of Service Iberia's goals within both regional and global strategies. **Qualifications** - Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, or related fields. - +5 years of experience in the wind or power industry, with demonstrated effective leadership. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP and Salesforce is valued. - Advanced communication skills in professional English, including verbal and written communication, active listening, meeting management, and presentation skills.
