Commis de Rang

SEASON 2026 - Starting Late February early March 2026 until November 2026
For our two Michelin Star Restaurant Vila Joya we are looking for personable and passionate Commis de Rang/Commis de Service. Key responsibilities:

- Assisting in arrangement & presentation of all dining elements -Help maintain a clean and orderly dining area throughout service -Assist Chef de Rang in delivering an exceptional dining experience by anticipating guest needs -Provide attentive and discreet service -Communicate effectively with Chef de Rang and other team members to manage guest requests and preferences -Develop a strong understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation techniques and wine pairings -Observe guests and proactively address any concerns or special needs -Uphold the restaurant’s commitment to excellence in every aspect of service
- Fluent in English, German and/or Portuguese are a plus -Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant is highly preferred but not mandatory -A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest service -Keen interest in learning about fine dining, wine, and the intricacies of Michelin-level service -Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work under the guidance of senior staff -Professional appearance and demeanor, aligned with Vila Joya’s high standards -Dedication to excellence and a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences -Ability to remain composed and courteous under pressure while multitasking effectively -Adaptable and capable of integrating into a diverse team.
