To ensure that customers **(external or intercompany) are up to date according with the payment terms and commercial conditions and collection allocated on daily basis, Manage and Update customer conditions in the system **in a timely manner, all queries are resolved speedily and that all **monies are collected** when due.

**PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE**:

- Maintaining the **Accounts Receivable (AR) ledger** to enable **timely cash collection.**:

- Establish regular **contact with customer accounts** departments regarding payment of invoices.
- Management of **Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)** and preparation of appropriate reports.
- Monitor **customer-trading terms** and ensure Dawn requirements are met.
- Ensure **customer statements** are issued on a timely basis.
- Ensure that the companies’ **debt collection** procedure is followed.
- Liaise with Accounting Manager to arrange implementation of **legal proceedings** where required.
- Support **Balance sheet reconcilation** for account receivables.
- Support cash pooling **treasury department.**:

- Ensure **compliance** with the Group's Treasury rules and Credit Limits.
- Support internal and external **audits.**:

- Monitor and control **bank receipt payments** ie SEPA
- Prepare Direc Debit runs on regular basis.
- Support the Accountant Manager on the monthly financial **closing activities (MeC)** of the entity.
- Work closely with other team members and will **provide cover** where and when necessary.
- Perform any **other reasonable duties** required.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCES**:

- At least 3 years experience of a credit control function.

**ADDITIONAL NOTES**:

- Intermediate skills in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Experience using SAP is arequiered
- Good communications skills, oral and written.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Customers
- Credit rating agencies
- 3rd Party Professional Advisers (Auditors/Legal / Tax advisors etc).

**Languages**:

- Fluent written & spoken English required
