Bose’s Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (D&A COE) mission is to drive world class customer and employee experiences using data and insights at speed and scale. We do this by modernizing Bose data and delivering data-driven tools that guide decision making across the company. To modernize Bose data, we focus on promoting data literacy to make data first class across the organization, which includes building a strong foundation with quality, standards, and governance. We maintain the Bose Data Lake as a single source of truth for enterprise data and make it available to all teams within the company. We drive innovation in analytics and data science, ensuring that the organization makes faster and better decisions with dashboards, decision aides, and AI/ML models.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is curious, passionate about data and analytics innovation, and focused on solving business problems.

This role will work with Product Owners, business stakeholders, analysts, ERP (SAP) SMEs in Finance, Product, Engineering, Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR organizations to define and translate business problems (e.g., process inefficiencies) into technical requirements for the D&A COE teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with key stakeholders and business leads to understand and document their needs via requirements specs, use cases and process diagrams.
- Partner with Data & Analytics CoE leads to determine the most appropriate and cost effective short
- and long-term solutions to meet the requirements with an agile mindset.
- Institutionalize business domain knowledge by developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and implementing robust knowledge management systems to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance organizational efficiency
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement through data-driven insights.
- Gather specific data requirements for ERP (SAP) system data migration to cloud Data Lake / Data Warehouse platforms.
- Act as a key Business Analyst and Data Management coordinator for the Program Management
- Manage data-related projects, including scoping, planning, and tracking progress.
- Create actionable epics and user stories for assigned product features in Jira.
- Write effective user stories, using interviews, workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, and other techniques.
- Support Product Owners in refinishing business requirements
- Gathers and documents requirements for initiative design.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.

**Qualifications**:
Required:

- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a relevant role with knowledge of business analysis, reporting or analytics or data engineering.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with SAP, specifically BW HANA is a strong plus
- Proficiency in SQL
- Ability to explore data sets and validate data output
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence or equivalent tools
- Experience working with internationally dispersed teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and motivate individuals within cross-functional teams
- Education - Bachelor or Masters degree

Preferred:

- Literacy with any relevant data & analytics technologies & platforms: data warehousing (Snowflake, Vertica, MS SQL, Redshift etc.), data management, ETL/ELT (DBT, Snaplogic etc.), Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlickview, Looker etc.), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google cloud).
- Strong project management skills
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in agile environment using scrum methodologies
