**Who are we?**
We are the DEUS initiative, and we are all about exploring AI in the service of humanity. No, we are not calling ourselves gods(), but our name is a reference to ‘deus ex machina’ (or god from the machine in Latin). We believe that artificial intelligence technologies such as machine learning, computer vision and natural language processing will have a massive impact on the way we live, and we want to make sure that we create a positive impact on the world with these AI services.

DEUS is a new initiative, but the founders have been working together very successfully for years, so there is a comfortable family feel to the company. We have an amazing set of international client partnerships (and projects/challenges). Our headquarters is located on the most iconic canal of Amsterdam, the Keizersgracht. We also have a team in Portugal that is based out of the beautiful city of Porto with an office close to the beach, and our Spanish team is based out of the charming center of A Coruña

**Who are you?**
As a Tech Recruiter in the DEUS team you will participate in the improvement of existing recruitment processes and in the design of new ones, you will investigate market trends in HR and, most important, you will participate in the recruitment of new Disciples of the DEUS Team. Are you...
- someone who could sign a fulltime scholarship/internship?
- someone with a formal Human Resources training?
- someone really interested in recruiting tasks and working on the creation and strengthening of DEUS Employer Branding?
- someone who can communicate in English and Portuguese?
- someone located in Porto to attend events, job fairs, spend some time in the office and network in the area?
- someone who is interested in continuing in the company at the end of the scholarship/internship?

**Some of the hands-on tasks you could learn and perform in this role**:

- Maximize the use of internal and external references to support the strategic hiring needs of our teams.
- Post job openings in our career site and spread DEUS word on Social Nets, mainly in LinkedIn.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with various local and remote talent sources as Universities, Professional organizations, Formal and Informal Tech Groups, etc.
- Actively participate in Open-house events and University career fairs

- Written and verbal English is the only core requirement, but Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch and any other languages are always a bonus.
