Are you an expert in all things Windows Systems? Do you have excellent customer communication skills? Do you administrate storage servers and cloud-based solutions? Can you install servers from scratch?
Career Matchbox is working with a leading IT organisation who is providing global solutions, planning, integrations and development of computer systems across Europe and Africa. With the company expanding, they are looking for a Windows Systems Administrator with extensive SQL Server and Cloud based solutions experience. You will set up and configure servers and the networking associated with that.
- An excellent communicator, as a Windows Systems Administrator you will liaise closely with people in all levels across the business. As a key member of the IT Team, you will own the server and cloud estate and be responsible for best practice in the department. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will have the natural ability to spin multiple plates. In this role, no job is too big or too small and you will have a real can-do attitude
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Install, configure and carry on the administration of systems;
- Monitor and support computer infrastructure;
- Participate in infrastructure projects;
- Analyse and find solutions to issues and incidents in computer systems;
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
What you'll bring with you:
- Experience in Windows Service Administration.
- Experience in virtualization, backups, Windows, networks and hardware.
- Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and problem solving skills.
- Thirst for learning and new challenges.
- Higher education in Computer Science or related areas and/or certifications and professional experience;
- Flexibility for shift-work.
