Sales and Trading Assistant

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Ensure all Booking queries are addressed and escalated to the Marketer/Trader where appropriate
- Ensure that trades are booked correctly and completes the bookings of step-ins, unwinds and block allocations
- Ensure all trades are split as per client allocations in deal capture systems
- Ensure that MarkitWire (MW) is monitored to ensure all new trades, amendments, unwinds and novations alleged to us are picked up and affirmed within the regulatory deadlines
- Complete any requested backloading, ensuring all relevant checks are completed
- Act as an intermediary between the Marketers/Traders and all Operational areas of the Bank
- Ensure the onboarding process for new clients is correctly done
- Execute daily controls to mitigate risks
- Work in close collaboration with the onshore (London) team

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Academic background in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or similar areas
- Interest in Financial Markets (with focus on Interest rates swaps, Swaptions, Inflation swap)
- Fluency in English
- A structured, methodical and organized approach to work
- Good Team spirit, ability to work alone and with others
- Proactive and capacity to deliver results with precision and rigorousness
- Good time management and organization
- Client focus and resilience

**About the Team**

The Trader and Sales Assistant team aims to accompany the continuous enhancement of the quality of service provided to our clients, notably post-trade services. Its role is to support traders and sales in their daily tasks (pre-trade to post-trade processes), in the most timely and efficient manner. The trading and Sales assistant team is the key contact for external clients but also for other BNPP functions.
