Bartender

We are looking for a Barman to join our 5 star hotel in an international group, located in the stunning Madeira Island What we need: - Knowledge in spirtis and the different beverages; - Certificate in F&B; - Experience in the hospitality market; - Foundness for customer service; - Upselling skills; - Understanding of the latest industry trends regarding beverages; - Organization skills, comunication and resilience; - Team work; - Desire and ability to train and develop staff; - Proficiency in speaking and writing in Portuguese & English, basic German, French is a plus Main Responsibilities and Duties: - Monitors the ordering of all beer, spirits, bar tools and equipment; - Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, costing and preparation methods; - Maintain stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality; - Ensure that appropriate stock/par level of all bar items is constantly maintained; - Utilize appropriate stemware/glassware as required by company standards; - Create and push the limits of what mixed drinks can be; - Use one's expert knowledge to create innovative drinks and cocktails that explore the boundaries of flavors; - Ensure a memorable customer experience; - Ensuring high levels of customer service at all times to always meet our guest's expectations.
