Data Science Mastermind

**We’re looking for bright Data Science Masterminds to join our team**:
At Critical TechWorks, our Data Scientists play a pivotal role in steering the future of mobility. With a blend of technology, creativity, and analytical prowess, you will be instrumental in unlocking insights from vast data, driving innovation in areas across the whole universe of the automotive industry. - **Machine Learning Model Development**: Design and refine machine learning models, enhancing the capabilities and intelligence of BMW's systems.
- **Data Visualization and Communication**: Craft compelling visualizations and convey findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- **Experimentation and A/B Testing**: Lead rigorous testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies and approaches, ensuring continuous improvement.
- **Collaborative Solution Design**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product visionaries, to design data-driven solutions that align with strategic objectives.

**Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’re likely to have**:

- **At least 3 years of experience in technical software engineering**, good scripting, and programming skills with at least one programming language (Python, Scala) and proficiency with data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, Numpy, matplotlib, seaborn, sklearn).
- **Experience with data querying languages** (e.g. SQL).
- **Experience working with public cloud platforms**, especially AWS, and according to technologies and services is a plus (e.g. Apache Spark/ AWS glue, Apache HIVE/ AWS Athena, Jupyter/ AWS Sagemaker, ML-LIB).
- **Experience with**IaC such as Terraform is a plus.
- **Expertise** with quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining.
- **Advanced experience in applied statistics,** Machine Learning, or related fields.
- Experience in analyzing and visualizing complex statistical data is a big plus.
- Experience in automotive data processing / data science is a big plus.

- Have **excellent English oral and written skills**. German communication skills will be a plus.
