Born in 2006, as a spin-off of the Faculty of Engineering of Porto University, BERD already participated in the construction of more than 20 bridges and viaducts in 5 continents. In 2016 BERD launched a new Business Unit, the Modular Bridge Solutions, that already supplied more than 150 Modular Bridges. Always focused on innovation, BERD is also working on a new R&D disruptive project.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Structuring and organizing information and knowledge to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conducting content analysis, concept mapping to establish relationships and represent knowledge.
- Working with taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, ontologies, standards related to the information and knowledge management system.
- Developing and implementing information and knowledge management systems and related processes.
- Collaborating with others to integrate information systems with their workflows.
- Staying current with industry developments and trends to recommend new technologies and approaches.
- Overseeing data quality control measures and implementing data validation processes.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in structuring and organizing information.
- Strong knowledge of information management systems and processes knowledge representation and organization, concept maps, taxonomies, ontologies, and related processes
- Knowledge in database management, data analysis, and data visualization tools
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- English speaking
