QA Chapter Lead

We are looking for a QA Chapter Lead with strong technical knowledge and strategic mindset to drive the evolution of our quality and automation practices. This person will lead the definition of scalable frameworks, promote engineering best practices, and foster a shared quality mindset across squads.

**Tasks**:

- Define and scale the technical architecture of test automation frameworks, focusing on reusability, versioning, and continuous integration
- Establish software engineering best practices related to quality, including testability, mocking, and observability
- Create and evolve shared guidelines, templates, and pipelines across multiple teams
- Conduct technical assessments and coaching sessions to raise the maturity of squads
- Define and track quality metrics such as coverage, flakiness, MTTR, and DORA indicators
- Lead AI-based initiatives for test generation and execution
- Encourage a shared testing culture, enabling engineers to integrate quality early in the development process

**Requirements**:

- Strong expertise in software engineering, with deep understanding of SOLID principles, test architecture, CI/CD, and observability
- Advanced knowledge in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
- Experience with different testing types: performance (JMeter, k6), security, integration, and mocking tools (WireMock, Pact)
- Proven experience in technical leadership of QA teams, chapters, or quality communities
- Ability to translate business goals into scalable and sustainable technical strategies
- Advanced English (spoken and written)

**Nice to have**:

- Experience in the retail or e-commerce sector
- Background with AI-assisted test generation or smart automation solutions
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK
- Strong soft skills, with the ability to facilitate technical discussions, provide constructive feedback, and positively influence teams
