About Tétris

What this job involves

Provide compliance assurance with TÉTRIS, client and regulatory requirements regarding environmental health and safety.
Collaborate with site TÉTRIS HSE Site Manager to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures required to meet all HSE compliance for the site.
Support contractor safety management (LPS) program
Provide administrative support for TÉTRIS and Client environmental health and safety programs.
Support staff with the completion of HSE risk assessments and the identification of appropriate control solutions, implement risk reduction/mitigation strategies as appropriate.
Drive education and implementation of HSE initiatives regarding high risk activities, Life Saving Actions (LSA) such as Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, LO/TO and Elevated Work.
Inspect vendor operations using prescribed protocols.
Collaborate with TÉTRIS vendor partners to assure they operate their businesses in compliance with TÉTRIS and Client requirements while on-site.
Support TÉTRIS HSE Site Manager investigating work-related incidents, injuries/illnesses and near-misses to facilitate root-cause analysis, care management, and reporting
Support ergonomic program and workstation ergonomic assessments
Support First Aid and AED program
Support sites during audits from Client, corporate, HSE staff and/or regulatory agencies
Support contagious illness and pandemic program management
Act as backup to HSE Site Manager during the HSE Site Manager absence.
Perform other related tasks and assignments as requested

**Critical Competencies**:
Results orientated with a strong focus on the delivery of objectives, including an ability to provide creative and innovative solutions based on a sound understanding of HSE requirements.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to professionally interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels
Ability to work unsupervised and take positive action to resolve issues on own initiative.
Good organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to carry out an audit and gather objective evidence through observation, interview and sampling of documents and records

**Essential Criteria**:
Health and Safety Technician level V;
Knowledge around HSE program management
Strong inter-personal skills. The ability to think critically, exercise independent judgement with mínimal supervision and act proactively to achieve established goals and Client deliverables
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Proficiency with English language

Desirable Criteria
Degree in environmental or related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may substitute
