FUJIFILM PORTUGAL is a subsidiary of FUJIFILM Europe based in Vila Nova de Gaia, responsible for the distribution of products and solutions for Imaging, Graphic Communication and Healthcare.
With over 50 years of experience, we currently employ more than 120 people in Portugal. For our Corporate team, we are looking for an Business Controller.
Visão geral:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are looking for a Business Controller who will work together with the Senior Controller. You will be responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for the local company, as well as control all GL accounts, by ensuring entries are recorded in accordance with company policies and all deadlines are accomplished.
**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Assistance on the month end closing activities: accruals & deferrals, depreciations, provisions, prepayments, ;
- Review monthly, quarter and annual reports prepared by the Shared Services;
- Assistance on Budget preparation together with Business units;
- Maintain and control all GL accounts, ensuring the correctness of the postings, namely debit notes from customers;
- Review accuracy of Fixed Assets register;
- Assistance and revision of payments;
- Ensure Bank Statements Reconciliations;
- Coordinate with other departments to obtain information about transactions and research unreconciled items;
- Follow and assistance in External and Internal Audit requests;
- Participate in cross-functions ad hoc projects and tasks assigned.
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
- University degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics or related areas.
- Solid Accounting knowledge;
- Experience with SAP (mandatory) and Power BI;
- Experience with US GAAP and IFRS (preferred);
- Experience in working with Shared Services;
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting (mandatory);
- Highly motivated, self-directed individual and focus on delivery;
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible to business needs
