Your new role

The Senior Manager, Reporting & Analytics will lead a dynamic and integrated reporting & analytics function delivering cross functional specialist services to the Kantar Business Services (KBS) organisation; with a focus on enabling the Tower Delivery teams to drive operational excellence and an exceptional customer experience. The role will report to the Director of KBS and will be responsible for managing and developing KBS to deliver high quality services to the business. The role will lead the reporting and analytical strategy, team, delivery and services across Finance, HR and Procurement.
A key part of the role will be the ability to develop and manage relationships with KBS customers, collaborating with other KBS Leads across Finance, HR and Procurement, Global Process Owners, our third-party vendors and other delivery partners. You will be working with these teams to identify and evaluate opportunities for improvements using data insights and monitoring progress using advance analytical techniques within a dynamic and evolving business environment. Specific elements of the role are:

- Sets the strategy and drives the transformation required in Kantar’s data platforms to increase the maturity of Kantar’s analytical capability and achieve a data driven organisation
- Partner with Global Process Owners and other Kantar stakeholders to understand, review and prioritize reporting requirements that underpin the signed off global processes for Finance, HR and Procurement
- Building a Data Governance framework that drives data quality assurance and trusted reports and data sets
- Responsibility for ensuring reporting and analytics drives insights and business performance across Kantar internal and external stakeholders with the ability to distil complex information for non-technical audiences at all levels
- Establish Demand and Incident Management processes to identify requirements and troubleshoot technical and business problems with the underlying transactional data and data structures with accountability for meeting SLAs
- Oversee continuous improvement in technical and business processes from a Reporting & Analytics perspective, including implementing new concepts and approaches for advanced analytics

What you'll need to succeed

Education/Primary Qualification
- Degree level education in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Industrial/Organisational Psychology or equivalent related professional experience

Knowledge and Experience
- Experience working within a cross functional Global Business Services (GBS) environment and demonstratable success in complex, matrix and cross functional projects with the ability to influence across the organisation
- Ability to build and present business insights at the enterprise, division, and market level with lenses on other key demographics, such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, for executive level review
- Deep understanding of ERP Reporting Platforms (SAP, Oracle, IFS), Cloud Analytical Platforms (Azure SQL, GCP, AWS Redshift), Budgeting and Financial Consolidation Solutions (OneStream, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Hyperion HFM)
- Basic report and dashboard development with BI Applications and Visualisation tools such as QlikView, Power BI, Tableau or Business Objects
- Historical delivery of advanced analytical solutions that demonstrate the ability to work with large and complex data sets to build analysis, visualise data and deliver business insights & commentary
- Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management
- Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods
