**The**Opportunity**:
Works independently under close supervision, provide analysis, insight, and recommendations by synthesizing information for various product categories and geographies by using competitive analyses, analytical modeling, and leveraging knowledge of the product portfolio and customer programs. Manage pricing process for the sales team including assessing, approving, and loading all pricing requests. Review, research, and analyze pricing to make recommendations on price enhancements, SKU rationalization and margin opportunities. Process quotation requests for stock standard items and special order (customer specific) items.

**Do you have a strong business acumen and a good grasp of numbers?**

As a **Pricing Specialist** at** Avantor**, you will play a key role in connecting our suppliers, Account Managers, and, to some extent, our customers. Your personality and professional expertise are crucial in our pricing process. Working closely with the sales team, you will help lay the foundation for the company's continued success.

**THE ROLE**:
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the best pricing for various contracts and offers in collaboration with our sales department and suppliers. Additional tasks include:

- Analyzing and evaluating prices and price trends.
- Utilizing pricing tools and strategies.
- Supporting customer inquiries regarding our **webshop**.
- Assisting with **B2B** setups for our customers.

**WHO ARE YOU?**:
You are skilled at collaborating and communicating with different stakeholders in an international sales company. You are highly engaged and driven to ensure high-quality execution of your tasks. You take responsibility and take pride in delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
- You have a strong business understanding and excel in communication, argumentation, and negotiation.
- You are detail-oriented and have a strong grasp of numbers.
- You are solution-oriented, analytical, and structured.
- You can handle large amounts of data without losing track of the bigger picture.
- You are self-driven, curious, and innovative in your approach to finding solutions.

**PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A higher education degree in **economics/accounting or natural sciences**.
- Preferably **2-4 years of work experience** in **procurement, controlling, accounting, or finance**. Experience in pricing is an advantage.
- Advanced **Excel** user with a strong **IT** aptitude.
- Experience with **SAP** or another **ERP system** is an advantage.
- Fluent in **English**, both spoken and written.
