**About the job**
- Located within the RISK function, RISK ORM CIB (Operational Risk Management) oversees the permanent control system, ensuring that it meets the standards defined by the Group, and that operational risk management is adapted to CIB’s risk appetite
- RISK ORM CIB prepares and analyses a Front to End consolidated view of operational risk in order to contribute to the reduction of operational risk and meet regulatory requirements
- RISK ORM CIB also contributes to the dissemination of the operational risk culture within CIB
- RISK ORM CIB is present in the 3 CIB regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas) and has more than 250 employees
- Within the RISK ORM CIB Global Markets Lisbon team, you will assume a Risk Manager role within a dedicated scope of activities present globally
- As Risk Manager, you will be a key player in the permanent control system
- You will compile and enrich an overall view of the operational risk profile of your perimeter
- Your analyses will make it possible to formalise independent reviews and reasoned opinions of the RISK function (2nd line of defense)
- on the first line of defense system (self-assessment of the risk areas of activities, control system, etc.)
- on key events (operational incidents, new activity) within the scope

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Specifically, your main mission will be to establish and monitor the risk profile of your perimeter
- Participating in the development and challenging of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), enabling the prioritisation of the main risk areas and ensuring that appropriate controls mitigate the main risks. These risks include execution risks, data risks, third party risks, fraud risks, etc
- Participating in the analysis of exceptional transactions and the New Activities Committee to express an opinion on the analysis of new operational risks and the adequacy of the proposed control system
- By ensuring the level of maturity of the operational risk management system compliance with the methodologies in the formalization of RCSAs, review of the quality of historical incidents, adequate monitoring of the implementation of controls and remedial action plans
- Gathering key information from representatives of the 1st (and 2nd) line of defense on the perimeter
- You will also be in charge of identifying (on a risk-based approach) and carrying out an independent testing plan to confirm the reality and effectiveness of the system
- These reports and the resulting remedial actions will be a key element of the system
- They will help to inform / alert Senior Management on the quality of the system or on material changes in the risk profile
- As Risk Manager, you will identify, analyse, report and crosscheck information from the various pillars of the system (RCSAs, Controls, Incidents, etc.), at 360 degrees, in order to draw up value-added conclusions for management, in particular within the framework of the Internal Control Committees

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Masters Degree in Finance
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Global Markets
- Fluent level of English, both written and oral are mandatory

- You will also be in charge of exchanging your analyses, best practices with a community of experts, risk managers, within RISK ORM CIB in order to strengthen read across and the expertise of the community
- You will be based in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, work in flex office and benefit from smartworking
