**The Role**

We’re looking for a **Junior Accountant** to join our Finance team and help keep our accounting processes running smoothly. You’ll play a key role in supporting document management, invoice processing, system integrations, and communication with our external accounting partners.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that’s perfect for someone at the beginning of their accounting career, eager to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven hospitality environment.

**About the Team**

The Finance team at Vida Plena is structured to cover the full financial cycle with both strategic and operational expertise. It includes our CFO, an Accounting Department (led by an Accounting Manager and supported by an external accounting firm), a Finance Manager focused on FP&A, a Junior Controller, and a Treasury & Accounts Payable Specialist.

**Your Key Responsibilities**

**Document Management & Operational Accounting**
- Collect, organize, and share financial documents and invoices with our external accounting firm
- Digitize and archive relevant physical documents for accounting purposes

**Invoice & Payment Integration**
- Support the integration and categorization of invoices in Spendesk
- Manage the integration of invoice and payment files into the Spendesk × Flow integrator

**Supplier Communication & Compliance**
- Review invoices for completeness and accuracy (supplier details, tax ID, dates, amounts)
- Communicate with suppliers to request missing or corrected documents
- Support the documentation of employee expenses and reimbursements

**Payroll Support**
- Assist in the monthly payroll process by preparing and checking documentation
- Liaise with HR and external providers to ensure timely and accurate execution

**Other administrative support**
- Assist with simple reconciliations and financial reporting
- Support additional administrative and cross-functional tasks as needed

**What We Expect From You**
- Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field (completed or in final stages)
- Previous experience in administrative or financial roles is a plus (including internships)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of responsibility
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize across multiple tasks
- Clear and professional communication skills in both English and Portuguese
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative and digital-first environment
- Comfort working with Excel
