We are looking for a motivated person to strengthen and eventually head up our AP team, in order to help the team improve the operations of the group

**Your Challenges**:

- Ensures and executes a reliable and punctual financial **Record-To-Report** (R-to-R) process and financial administration, including proper filing and all accounting responsibilities, such as general ledger, fixed assets, provisions, deferrals, VAT, ICO reconciliations, monitoring cash levels, periodical closing.
- Resolves any irregularities and deviations independently, investigates and intervenes when necessary and takes appropriate and punctual actions, seeking the assistance of higher management when needed.
- Liaise with **Italian tax and payroll **consultants to ensure company’s financial obligations are met efficiently.
- Processes and keeps track of expenditures (purchase orders, invoices, expense claims, statements,) and related payments to ensure the accounting records represent a correct view on the obligations of the company and the creditors are correctly and timely paid.
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances and underlying information and support.
- Oversees the daily movement of funds from a business banking account, to manage cash according to the expectations of management and the available reserves.
- Replies to vendor inquiries regarding finance to ensure a good relationship is kept with vendors and other external and internal stakeholders.
- Supports the invoice approval and payment process, to reduce the workload and backlog of all involved colleagues.
- Assists the annual audit to optimize the audit process and come to a clean audit opinion within the set deadlines.

**Your Best Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant domain, with minimum 4 years of work experience;
- Team player who loves personal interactions and gives a clear personal touch to human relations;

- Experience with leadership roles and display of problem-solving capabilities;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and customers;
- Strong analytical and time management skills;

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience with SAP ERP;
- Fluency in English. Italian is a plus;
- Good presentation skills;
