**Job Details**:**OVERVIEW**
As part of our investment into Technology, Operations and Product, Kantar is looking for a talented Development Lead - Normative to join our engineering community and help us define and drive the future of our data platforms. You will partner with our software engineering teams, architects and Product Managers to build the foundational technology for our ambitious product roadmaps.

Reporting into Kantar’s Technology division, this role will be instrumental for the end-to-end delivery of one of Kantar’s latest data products.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead and support a team of highly engaged and motivated software engineers ensuring every team member has the support they need to do their best work
- Manage dependencies and avoid constraints so that the team can focus on delivering value to our customers
- Perform code review on team member pull requests regularly and provide feedback on how to improve
- Coordinate regular and thorough security testing and proactively manage risk
- Be a continual learner and nurture a growth mindset amongst your teams

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS**:

- Extensive hands-on experience as a lead software engineer (development and/or testing) or architect
- Strong fundamental and practical knowledge of full-stack development
- Experience managing production releases
- Experience tracking and improving quality at all stages of development
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Portuguese - especially when conveying technical detail and business value

**DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS**:

- Experience at interviewing engineers and managing their performance and development
- Experience of delivering products related to data and/or analytics
- Training, certification and/or extensive reading in SAFe / Lean-Agile development practices
- Experience working with remote teams across multiple countries
- Experience with modern data stack technologies
- Experience with Azure Service Bus, Web Jobs, API Management
