Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Transformation: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from various databases and reporting.
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Use Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Insight Generation: Support senior analysts by conducting deep-dive analyses on business problems, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Data Quality: Assist in monitoring data quality and integrity, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reports and analyses.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for data sources, logic, and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
- SQL Proficiency: Solid understanding of relational databases and demonstrable skill in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation (e.g., joins, aggregations, window functions).
- BI Tool Experience: Hands-on experience creating dashboards and reports using at least one major Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker/Data Studio).
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical findings to a general audience.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and basic machine learning concepts.
- Exposure to version control systems like Git.
