- Purpose- As a Data Architecture Lead, you oversee the design and implementation of data architecture frameworks. Align data strategies with business goals, manage data architecture team(s), and ensure data integrity and scalability. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data systems and enhance overall performance. Support and enable cross-company Data strategy and objectives.
- Responsibilities- Lead and manage the data architecture team, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data architectures and engineering solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Develop and enforce best practices for data management, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Ensure the implementation of data governance policies, maintaining data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure the accurate and timely movement of data across systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of data architectures to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Monitor data system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary enhancements.
- Report on the progress, performance, and impact of data initiatives to senior leadership.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in data projects.
- Education- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is required. Certifications such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), or relevant data architecture and management certifications are preferred. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
