Sr Billing Analyst

Infinera is looking to hire a Billing Analyst to join the Global Billing Operations team. This role will report into the leader of the Global Billing function. In this role, you will be responsible on daily invoice activities of assigned customers. Key goals are to ensure invoicing timeliness and accuracy based on product shipment, projects milestone and/or service & software provided, increase efficiency through system automation and maximize time to collections. This role entails working directly with the customer, sales, logistics, order management, revenue accounting as well as collections teams.
Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to utilize and leverage SAP system to perform core job responsibilities quicker, allowing time for more analytical & problem-solving tasks
Understanding & resolving specific customers’ invoicing processes & requirements
Manage incoming inquiries from customers and/or stakeholders: sales, order management, revenue accounting, tax, logistics, collections, etc.
High attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills, independently to meet deadlines
Team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible
Excellent verbal, written, and customer interfacing skills
English, written and spoken
Experience Necessary for Success Includes:
Relevant experience at a multi-national, multi-currency company
Hands on knowledge in working with SAP
Experience working with customers and international teams
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Power BI

Hybrid position
Time flexibility is a requirement mainly at month-end, quarter end, and when volume of work is exceptionally high. This might include weekends at last week of March, June, September and December
