Shop Assistant / BArista

**Location**: São Sebastião, Lisbon

**Position Type**: Full-time (40 hours per week, 2 days off)

**About Us**:
Gourmet House Caviar and Deli is a unique blend of a retail store and a resto-bar specializing in fine foods, including premium caviar. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional culinary experience paired with high-quality customer service. As we extend our opening hours, we’re looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**: Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring every customer feels valued and well-cared for.
- **Sales**: Assist customers in the retail section with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases.
- **Waiter Duties**: Serve food and beverages in the resto-bar area with professionalism and attention to detail.
- **Bar Knowledge**: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintain bar cleanliness, and recommend drinks to customers with confidence.
- **Product Knowledge**: Develop an understanding of our gourmet products to confidently provide information and recommendations to customers.
- **Stock & Display**: Ensure products are well-stocked, neatly displayed, and shelves are kept organized and tidy.
- **Hygiene & Cleanliness**: Maintain cleanliness in both the shop and resto-bar areas, following health and safety standards.
- **Flexibility**: Adapt to scheduling needs, including evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts, as required.

**Requirements**:

- Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about food, beverages, and customer service.
- Previous experience in a similar role (shop assistant, waiter/waitress, bartender a plus).
- Spoken Portuguese and English are a must.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a proactive mindset.
- Flexibility with working hours (40 hours per week with 2 days off).
- **Bar knowledge and/or bartending experience is highly valued.**:
