We are looking for a **Senior Data Scientist** to join our Team

**What do you contribute?**:
Your path leads you to our newly established, internationally operating department, which contributes to shaping the sustainable mobility of tomorrow with data and AI. Our goal is to understand processes, identify needs, and proactively develop solutions. We also offer consulting and learning opportunities on data and AI so that our teams can optimize their workflows. We act as an interface between Siemens AG's corporate IT and Siemens Mobility's business units.
- In your new role, you will use your AI and data analytics expertise to drive digitalization at Siemens Mobility.
- You analyze large data sets, develop predictive models, and derive actionable insights for business decisions.
- You also design and implement production-ready MLOps pipelines in the field of generative AI.
- Additionally, you systematically evaluate ML algorithms and establish performance monitoring for software solutions.
- You act as an interface to internal customers and support them as a project manager in business decisions.
- You also work with various Siemens departments to continuously develop the AI strategy.

**What do you bring?**:

- You have a degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or a comparable field.
- You have many years of professional experience in data science in industry, consulting, or academia.
- You also have in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructures (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data analytics (e.g., Snowflake).
- You also have practical experience in NLP techniques and conversational AI.
- You are familiar with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and infrastructure tools such as Terraform.
- Fluent English and ideally German skills round off your profile.
